The “Am Vogelsang” new-build in Stuttgart features 152 apartments and six commercial units built on the former site of Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG between 2019 and 2023.

Once again, Lumon has partnered with the renowned Spanish architectural firm Peris + Toral Arquitectes to complete the breathtaking architectural marvel ‘El Masnou,’ perched on the scenic hills of Barcelona. This collaboration is part of a longstanding relationship between Lumon and the architectural firm, with both parties continually highlighting the transformative benefits that glazing brings to both current and future projects.

Lumon is the proud supplier of glazing for Tobaksmonopolet – a spectacular construction project with a historical connection.  

We met with Håkan to hear a little more about why the housing association chose to glaze resident balconies, how they went about choosing a supplier for glazing, and how the overall experience of the process was.

In Pasila, Helsinki, Tripla is a large construction project by the construction company YIT, comprising over 400 apartments, with a total duration of approximately 3.5 years. Tripla’s balcony facade is multidimensional and spans the entire outer wall width, with glazing implemented using an integrated combination of Lumon balcony glazing and railing.

The facade of a 1970s-built multi-residential complex in the city of Lahti, Finland, was in need of a refresh. Traditional concrete railings were no longer feasible to repair. The housing association then decided to renovate the 24-unit residential complex with Lumon balcony glazing, railings, and blinds.

The tallest wooden building in Germany is being built in the heart of Hamburg’s Hafencity: “Roots”. 181 apartments, 1,700 square meters of office space and 2,000 square meters of exhibition space will be built on 18 floors.
