Noise protection is an important topic. Whether in highly populated areas or for buildings near railroads, airports, industrial areas or expressways, solutions are needed to comply with the specified sound insulation values and still ensure the living quality of the residents.
In Berlin Pankow, 107 new 2-5 room apartments are being built right next to a soccer field and a railroad track. Both of these factors mean higher requirements for the noise protection of the apartments than for other buildings. We got the chance to interview Mr. Högemeier, the construction manager of this project of domoplan Baugesellschaft mbH. He explains the details in the video below.
