Lumon has supplied balcony glazing into the tallest residential building in Athlete’s Village of Saint Denis for 2024 Olympics near Paris, France

Lumon, the world’s leading manufacturer of frameless balcony glazing solutions, has equipped balconies with its glazing technology on the tallest residential building in the Athlete’s Village of Saint Denis near Paris, France for the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics.

Lumon’s retractable glazing solutions have been installed into the building’s 90 balconies. The landmark project referred to as the Signal Tower is the architectural work of renowned architect Clément Vergély.

“Being involved in such a prestigious project demonstrates the quality and reliability of Lumon’s products and services. Ultimately, this is an important step in opening new business opportunities and increasing Lumon’s position in France,” notes Project Manager of Lumon France, Anne-Marie Sevin. “Retractable balcony glazing is already a well-known and regarded feature in Northern Europe. Now, both the Olympic guests and future residents can experience its benefits first-hand,” Sevin continues.

The project followed careful installation protocol according to site-specific security instructions, with the final delivery and installation of glazing in February of this year. The project’s timely completion was made possible with close collaboration with local partners.

Post-Olympics, the apartments of the Signal Tower will be marketed by Vinci Immobilier under the name Apogée, offering potential buyers a glimpse into the future of sustainable city living. The transition from Olympic accommodation to residential use highlights Lumon’s commitment to create functional spaces, blending utility with comfort and creating more room for life.
