Lumon Spain was acknowledged of promoting and expanding business in Malaga

During the past seven years the number of Lumon Spain personnel has grown from 70 employees close to 400 and the company’s turnover has grown from 9 million euros to 50 million. Currently the company is building a balcony glazing factory to Antequera which will start production in August 2022. These accomplishments were the reason why Malaga Business Circle rewarded Lumon Cristales España for promoting and expanding business significantly in the Malaga area. Malaga business circle is a nonprofit association which was established 1,5 years ago and it has more than 100 member companies with the total turnover of 1500 M€. 

Javier Martínez, the Country Manager of Lumon Cristales España (on the middle) received the price on an award ceremony in which all the all proceeds were donated to charity.

“This is truly a team award and without all the members of our Lumon work community this wouldn’t been possible”, praises Javier Martínez, the Country Manager of Lumon España S.L. “We really want to grow, develop our business and maintain our headquarters in Malaga. We are on the right path, but our dreams for the future are much bigger”, Martínez continues. 

“One strong indicator of us as Lumon wanting to develop our business, is the investment of 30 M€ to the best and most modern balcony glazing factory. The construction is currently in progress, and our aim is to end the construction in March and the production will begin in August 2022”, Javier states. 

Lumon Cristales España is currently building a balcony glazing factory to Antequera and the production is scheduled to start in August 2022.

“Just a few years back we had only two offices in Spain. Today we have twelve and more is coming. We are helping our customers to make their homes better with Lumon glazing solutions and these exceptional times has shown that people are eager to extend the use of their balconies and terraces”, Javier states. At the beginning of the year Lumon introduced new glazing products which are designed based on 40 years of experience as the industry pioneer. 

“Another indicator of our strong growth is constantly ongoing recruitments. We have already hired 180 new Lumon employees during this year and we are looking to hire more. We have a variety of jobs open in different areas such as sales, installation and support functions”, Javier explains and concludes: “I urge everyone who feels a passion for helping customers making their home betters and want to be a part of a globally growing business to apply and join our team”.
