[NEWS] Balkonser to provide authorized maintenance service of Lumon’s products in Finland
Starting from 2.9.2024, Finnish company Balkonser will act as the authorized service provider for Lumon’s products in Finland. Both Lumon’s consumer and professional customers such as property managers and housing companies can order Lumon’s regular maintenance services in Finland from Balkonser’s website, balkonser.fi (note: the website can only be found in Finnish). Lumon will continue to provide scheduled maintenance for Lumon’s patio glazing and will be responsible for any repairs to its installed glazing under existing warranty.
At the same time, Balkonser will become a part of Lumon Group, but will continue operations as an independent organization under the supervision of CEO Ilkka Ahonen. Balkonser is committed to servicing balcony glazing of all balcony glazing providers with quality, ensuring the safety, usability, and comfort of balcony spaces for years to come.

Lumon’s recent customer study reveals a notable trend: nearly 25-29% of respondents are using their outdoor spaces more than expected with the addition of glazing. While the concept of balcony glazing has become familiar in especially Nordic countries, the survey shows that the benefit of balcony glazing is often not fully realized until it becomes a natural part of everyday life. The survey, conducted across five countries -Finland, Sweden, Norway, Spain, and Canada- highlights dining and entertaining as one of the top ways of using the outdoor space.
