We are looking for Installation Technicians to join our team in the Toronto, Ontario region.

Position – Installation Technician –Toronto  

Lumon Canada is looking for reliable and experienced installation members. As a big and important part of our team, you will work alongside 10-12 other install members in a two-four person crew environment. Responsibilities 

  • Install Lumon products safely and efficiently in residential and commercial settings
  • Engage with customers in a respectful, professional manner
  • Exercise problem-solving skills
  • Proactively exercise teamwork
  • Use necessary software and hand tools
  • Comply with applicable safety standards, including fall arrest systems
  • Construct additional building structures to support Lumon systems
  • Complete and maintain all required written records
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, Genie booms lifts, and company vehicles
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
  • Work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment 

Qualifications 

  • Construction, framing, sunroom or other construction experience a strong asset
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with hand tools and other light equipment
  • Moderate mathematical skills
  • Ability to take accurate measurements
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to lift between 60-120lbs
  • On feet during day

  • Construct additional building structures to support heavy glass systems
  • Assist with site set-up, material staging, and scrap and waste management
  • Complete and maintain all required written records

  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse
  • Work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in physical labour/construction an asset

We are looking for a Production Worker in the Greater Toronto AreaThis is a full-time, permanent position at our manufacturing facility in Vaughan. 

Primary responsibilities: 

  • Produce and assemble balcony enclosures and sunroom products in accordance with instructions, drawings, and measurements
  • Identify and use correct profiles and components
  • Manage automated machining operation, settings, and changes of programs
  • Operate and use saws and a variety of hand and power tools to work with aluminum
  • Assemble components and glue glazing beads to glass according to written instructions
  • Prepare finished products for shipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with power tools required
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
  • Must be familiar with the metric system
  • Highly organized and self-motivated individual
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail required
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work with a team are important

Physical demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk constantly
