We are looking for a Residential Sales Consultant in the Hamilton area. This is a permanent, full-time position based out of our office in Stoney Creek.

Primary responsibilities: 

  • Prospect for new clients, source leads, and make cold calls
  • Generate sales for the residential division
  • Consistently attain sales targets, contributing to the overall company goals
  • Present to customers in private appointments and at industry forums
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients to build business opportunities
  • Provide professional customer service in ensuring superior client satisfaction at all times
  • Create professional solution-based quotes and proposals
  • Assist in the execution of industry events such as trade shows and other events
  • Stay up-to-date on Lumon's marketing literature, technical manuals, and other information

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of the construction industry
  • Must be exceptionally goal-oriented

  • Solve problems at difficult jobsites
  • Use necessary software and work management tools
  • Interact with customers in a respectful and professional manner
  • Comply with applicable safety standards, including working at heights
  • Use fall arrest systems, including installing anchor points
  • Construct additional building structures to support heavy glass systems
  • Assist with site set-up, material staging, and scrap and waste management
  • Complete and maintain all required written records
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, Genie booms, and company vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse
  • Work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in physical labour/construction an asset
  • Experience using hand tools and other light equipment
  • Mature and responsible
  • Good communication skills
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift Certifiacte, First Aid, and WHMIS training are an asset
  • Current driver's license is a requirement

We are looking for a Production Worker in the Greater Toronto AreaThis is a full-time, permanent position at our manufacturing facility in Vaughan. 

Primary responsibilities: 

  • Produce and assemble balcony enclosures and sunroom products in accordance with instructions, drawings, and measurements
  • Identify and use correct profiles and components
  • Manage automated machining operation, settings, and changes of programs
  • Operate and use saws and a variety of hand and power tools to work with aluminum
  • Assemble components and glue glazing beads to glass according to written instructions
  • Prepare finished products for shipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with power tools required
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
  • Must be familiar with the metric system
  • Highly organized and self-motivated individual
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail required
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work with a team are important

Physical demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk constantly
  • Frequent use of hands
  • Lifting and/or moving glass panels and aluminum profiles
